Heather Christopher, owner of Heather Christopher Travel Consulting LLC and co-founder of Wanderlust Wedding Co began her career in travel planning in 2006.  In 2008, she was named one of Travel Agent Magazine’s Top 30 Under 30.

Heather has more than ten years experience devoted to planning luxury travel itineraries for clients nationwide.  In addition, she has planned more than 25 destination weddings, with special emphasis in the Caribbean and Hawaii.  She loves playing destination-and-venue matchmaker for couples and their perfect wedding destinations.

After marrying her high school sweetheart at the ripe old age of 19 to follow him during his Marine Corps career, they lived in Northern Virginia before settling in Gettysburg, PA with their two young daughters.  Heather and her husband have traveled to five of the seven continents and to more than 30 countries and counting.

When not planning her clients trips, Heather likes to travel the Hawaiian Islands drinking Kona coffee.

Sarah Pete Rizzi, owner of Sincerely Pete Events & co-founder of Wanderlust Wedding Co, started in the events and hospitality business over 15 years ago and has been planning weddings and events for over 13 years for everyone from the Department of Defense to the historic Willard InterContinental Hotel.

She believes in a personal approach to each and every event - curating an experience for her clients to enjoy the planning process and making it uniquely personal. Her favorite events feel unproduced but rich in detail and accented with special touches.

A Navy brat growing up, Sarah Pete caught a travel bug and while she’s based in Washington, D.C., she’s planned weddings in such places as the Virgin Islands, Italy, California, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Minnesota, and all over Virginia and Maryland.

Recently married, she choose to wed in Positano, Italy because her wife claimed to have had the “best meal of her life” there… now she claims it too!
